Seven-round NFL mock draft, Round 7: Building a win-now team from active players for 2025 season

Sieler posted 10 sacks for the second straight year with Miami in 2024, and he would be a strong starter at 5-technique for the Titans.

Addison gives the Browns a deep threat to complement second-round pick Amon-Ra St. Brown.

The Giants select Sneed with the hope he can replicate the success he had in Kansas City (10 interceptions from 2020 to 2023).

Boswell has become the NFL's most reliable kicker, and the Patriots showed in this year's real draft that they are interested in securing a strong-legged scorer.

Pick
197
Colston Loveland
Michigan · TE

Loveland has the hands and athleticism to develop into a top-five NFL tight end.

Fowler proved in 2024 he still has the burst to bring down quarterbacks, accumulating 10.5 sacks in Washington.

Sweat possesses the frame and plus length the Saints prefer up front.

Andrews turns 30 years old in September but he's still a red zone machine (11 touchdowns in 2024). The Bears should be thrilled he's still available in the seventh round.

Gardner-Johnson matched his career high with six interceptions for the Super Bowl champs last season. He can be a playmaker in the secondary for Aaron Glenn.

Carolina gives first-round pick Jared Goff a quick tight end who can work in space and find room in the end zone.

Pick
203
Will Campbell
LSU · OT

San Francisco finds a promising young left tackle to protect first-round pick Dak Prescott's blindside in 2025.

Pick
204
Tyler Warren
Penn State · TE

Warren's large frame, strong hands and short-area agility should bring Jason Witten comparisons to the minds of Cowboys fans nationwide.

Pick
205
Jalon Walker
Georgia · Edge

Keeping Walker with his real-life team makes sense given his fit in Atlanta's defense as an edge presence and run-stopper on the outside.

Mixon proved he's still a productive back, running for 1,016 yards and 11 scores in Houston last year. So, don't be shocked if he hits 1,000 yards and catches 40-plus passes in his age-29 season.

It's not hard to envision Queen racking up 130 tackles and a Pro Bowl nod in Miami's defense.

The Colts select a second offensive lineman, pairing Decker with fourth-rounder Tyler Linderbaum. They will give first-round pick Russell Wilson a chance to see the field clearly.

Pick
209
Omarion Hampton
North Carolina · RB

The Bengals go with youth over a couple of veteran backs, as Hampton's powerful but elusive running should translate to the pros.

Jones showed he was still an effective back after the Packers let him go, as he gained 1,546 yards from scrimmage for the Vikings last season. The Seahawks hope he can provide similar production in his first full season over the age of 30.

Tampa Bay nabs a division foe, providing a dangerous runner/receiver for first-round pick Aaron Rodgers.

Denver's decision to select Cooper in the seventh round of the 2021 draft is paying dividends. He stays with the team for whom he's made 19 sacks over the past two seasons.

Pick
213
Tyler Booker
Alabama · OG

How about a massive human like Booker leading the way for Saquon Barkley in Pittsburgh? Sounds like Steeler football to me.

Landry takes over the Chargers' veteran pass rusher role from Joey Bosa and Khalil Mack after posting 31.5 sacks over his past three healthy seasons (missed 2022 due to injury).

Green Bay attempts to control the clock with Hall's strong running and ability as a receiver (133 receptions for seven scores over the last two seasons).

Pick
216
Tetairoa McMillan
Arizona · WR

The Vikings pick two rookie receivers in this mock, presumably adding veterans as free agents after the draft. McMillan's size meshes well with Hunter's downfield ability, giving J.J. McCarthy a dynamic duo.

Houston selects Aiyuk late the draft in the hopes he returns to form in his return from last season's knee injury.

Engram joins A.J. Brown as the top targets for Sam Darnold in this exercise. The former Giant and Jaguar signed with Denver in March as he looks to rebound from an injury-shortened 2024 season.

Kraft could be on the same career path as long-time Ravens starter Mark Andrews, a third-round pick who gets first downs and owns the red zone (seven touchdowns in 2024).

Pick
220
Jahdae Barron
Texas · CB

Detroit uses its final pick on Barron, who played safety, nickel and outside corner at Texas.

Another former member of the Longhorns secondary comes off the board after his breakout year with the Broncos (115 tackles, three interceptions).

Pick
222
Grey Zabel
North Dakota State · OG

A pro-ready starter at guard, Zabel also suited up at both tackle spots in college.

Turner is a tough tackle to block despite his lack of ideal size. The Chiefs need a penetrator inside with Chris Jones off to the Texans in this mock.

The two-time 1,000-yard receiver would be a great asset for second-round pick Michael Penix Jr. if he's able to stay healthy. Concussions have plagued Olave going back to his college days.
