  • QB Aidan O'Connell's 21-day practice window to return from injured reserve has been opened, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported, per sources. O'Connell fractured his wrist during the preseason.

  • QB John Wolford is signing to the practice squad, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported. The team later announced the news. Wolford, who spent time together with Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell with the Rams, has a 2-2 career record.

  • RB Cam Skattebo suffered not only a dislocated ankle in Sunday's loss to the Eagles, but also a fibula fracture and deltoid ligament rupture, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported on Wednesday, per sources. Skattebo’s injury has a six-month recovery, which means the RB should be ready to roll for OTAs and minicamp, per Rapoport. After successful surgery, the rookie was place on injured reserve on Tuesday.
