Titans CB L'Jarius Sneed indicted on misdemeanor for failure to report a felony

Tennessee Titans cornerback L'Jarius Sneed was indicted Tuesday in Dallas County (Texas) court for failure to report a felony stemming from a December 2024 incident.

Sneed, 28, is accused of failing to report the commission of a felony during an incident in which he observed "serious bodily injury or death may have resulted, namely aggravated assault," according to Dallas County Clerk records.

Failure to report a felony with serious bodily injury or death results, of which Snead is accused, is a class A misdemeanor, which is punishable by a fine of up to $4,000 and/or a year in county jail.

The December incident was an alleged shooting at a car dealership.

A Louisiana native, Sneed was selected out of Louisiana Tech in the fourth round of the 2020 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs. He played four seasons with the Chiefs, winning two Super Bowls. He was traded to the Titans ahead of the 2024 campaign.

Sneed has 26 tackles and three pass breakups in seven starts this season. He was placed on injured reserve on Oct. 23 with a quadriceps injury and hasn't played since Week 7.
