Raiders hire Broncos director of college scouting Brian Stark as assistant general manager

Four days after leading the Las Vegas Raiders through the draft for the first time, general manager John Spytek has added an assistant GM.

The Raiders announced Wednesday that they have hired Denver Broncos director of college scouting Brian Stark as their assistant GM, along with Johnathan Stigall as their assistant director of college scouting.

Stark was with the Broncos for the past 13 seasons and served as the director of college scouting from 2016-2024. He arrived in Denver after a long career as an assistant coach in the college football ranks. He had stops at San Diego State in various roles from 2000-2008, the University of Washington (2001, offensive program coordinator) and at Yale, where he was the offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach from 2009-2011.

Stigall is heading into his 27th NFL season, with the last 11 working for the New York Jets.
