Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes, Falcons RB Bijan Robinson highlight Players of the Week

AFC Offensive Player of the Week

Patrick Mahomes
Kansas City Chiefs · QB

Mahomes was magnificent in collecting his second Offensive Player of the Week honor in three weeks. The Chiefs signal-caller racked up four total touchdowns as he led Kansas City past the Detroit Lions on Sunday night, 30-17. He completed 22 of 30 passes (73.3%) for 257 yards, three touchdowns and no interceptions. He added 32 yards on the ground and another score.

NFC Offensive Player of the Week

Bijan Robinson
Atlanta Falcons · RB

In a blur, Robinson was off for an 81-yard touchdown run on Monday night -- the longest of his career. It was the biggest play of a stellar all-around evening as Robinson led the Falcons past the Buffalo Bills, 24-14. Robinson racked up 238 scrimmage yards -- a franchise record -- with 170 yards on the ground, 68 receiving and one momentous TD.

AFC Defensive Player of the Week

Jonathon Cooper
Denver Broncos · LB

Cooper was a mainstay in the New York Jets backfield on Sunday in London, helping his Broncos to a 13-11 win that was ugly on offense and beautiful for the defenses. The edge rusher posted five tackles, two sacks and a tackle for a loss as Denver held New York to a meager 82 yards of offense.

Jamel Dean
Tampa Bay Buccaneers · CB

In a marquee matchup against the San Francisco 49ers, Dean shined and helped the Buccaneers to a 30-19 win on Sunday. Dean was an absolute playmaker, posting four tackles, a sack, an interception and a forced fumble in a phenomenal day’s worth of work. 

AFC Special Teams Player of the Week

Cameron Dicker
Los Angeles Chargers · K

Dicker was on the money Sunday, booting home a 29-27 win for his Chargers over the Miami Dolphins. Dicker racked up 17 total points on a perfect day at the field. In addition to making good on two extra points and going an eye-popping 5 for 5 on field goals, including a game-winning 33-yard make with only five seconds left on the clock.

NFC Special Teams Player of the Week

Ryan Fitzgerald
Carolina Panthers · K

Fitzgerald booted the Panthers past the Dallas Cowboys, 30-27, on Sunday. He connected on a walk-off 33-yard field goal to give Carolina a massive victory and conclude a perfect day for the kicker. Fitzgerald was 3 of 3 on field goals, including one from 55 yards, and 3 for 3 on extra points.
