AFC Offensive Player of the Week
Mahomes became the fastest player in NFL history to reach 250 passing touchdowns and kept piling on the points. In all, Mahomes threw four touchdowns on Sunday in the Chiefs' impressive 37-20 victory over the Baltimore Ravens. Now sitting at 252 career TD tosses, Mahomes also had 270 passing yards on 25-of-37 passing to lead K.C. to its second consecutive win.
NFC Offensive Player of the Week
Nacua is off and running to a scintillating start to the 2025 season, helping his Rams to a 27-20 victory over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. Nacua was a stat maven, piling up 13 receptions on 15 targets for 170 yards and a touchdown. His 9-yard touchdown in the fourth quarter led to a 20-20 tie, opening the door for his quarterback Matthew Stafford to throw his third TD of the day to Tutu Atwell for a riveting fourth-quarter rally.
AFC Defensive Player of the Week
Lloyd and the Jaguars defense came up huge in a 26-21 statement win over the San Francisco 49ers on Sunday. Lloyd racked up eight tackles, a tackle for loss, two pass breakups and two interceptions. The linebacker was all over the field and the box score as the Jags improved to 3-1.
NFC Defensive Player of the Week
Mitchell was a blanket on Sunday, playing a crucial role in the Eagles improving to 4-0 with a 31-25 squeaker over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Mitchell allowed just two catches for 6 yards on nine targets, while posting five pass breakups and five tackles.
AFC Special Teams Player of the Week
Jones had a special day and then some on Sunday, propelling the Patriots to a 42-13 rout of the Carolina Panthers. Jones put the Pats on the scoreboard with a thrilling 87-yard punt return for a score in the first quarter. With New England leading, 21-6, in the second quarter, Jones was at it again, turning in a 61-yard punt return that led to another New England score. In all, Jones had three punt returns for 167 yards -- and he added five tackles.
NFC Special Teams Player of the Week
Speeding around the edge, Blackwell came up clutch to clinch the Bears' 25-24 win on Sunday over the host Las Vegas Raiders. With 38 seconds to play and the Bears clinging to a one-point lead, Raiders kicker Daniel Carlson lined up for a 54-yard go-ahead field goal attempt. Blackwell had other ideas as he sprang onto the scene for an award-winning block.
