Free-agent wide receiver Odell Beckham says he's not done playing yet. And, his return to the field might be closer than you think.
The 32-year-old Beckham has been training for the upcoming season, has received interest from several teams and plans to play somewhere in 2025, NFL Network Insider Tom Pelissero reported Wednesday.
On Tuesday, Beckham tried to tamp down talk about retirement, posting on X that he was, “not done yet” and urging people to "stop reading everything on the internet" and to “stop texting me happy retirement.”
Beckham has been taking a year-to-year approach the past several seasons, signing with the Ravens and Dolphins the past two seasons after sitting out the 2022 season following a torn ACL. He signed with the Dolphins last May but never found his footing in Miami, catching nine passes for 55 yards in nine games.
The two sides mutually agreed to part ways last December. Beckham cleared waivers and has been a free agent since.
After being traded from the Browns midway through the 2021 season, Beckham helped the Rams win Super Bowl LVI, catching the opening touchdown pass of the game before suffering his torn ACL. His career has spiraled since then, catching 44 passes for 620 yards and three TDs in 23 games (six starts) with the Ravens and Dolphins.
In his 10-year NFL career, which began with a brilliant first three seasons with the Giants, Beckham has caught 575 passes for 7,987 yards (13.9-yard average) and 59 touchdown receptions.
