  • OL Ben Cleveland has been suspended three games by the NFL for violating the league's Substances of Abuse Policy, the team announced. Cleveland was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence on Feb. 12.

  • RG Robert Hunt (biceps; injured reserve) won't have is 21-day practice window opened this week but there is optimism he will return before the end of the season, head coach Dave Canales told reporters Monday.
  • LB Claudin Cherelus remains in the concussion protocol but is trending in the right direction to play in Week 15, per Canales.

  • WR Tee Higgins is in the league's concussion protocol after reporting symptoms after Sunday's loss to the Bills, head coach Zac Taylor told reporters. The NFL and NFL Players Association released a joint statement obtained by NFL Network's Cameron Wolfe regarding Higgins' evaluation Sunday: "Tee Higgins was evaluated twice in game and cleared to return. After the game, in discussion with club medical personnel as part of a postgame evaluation, he notified the team he was experiencing symptoms and was immediately placed in the concussion protocol."
  • DE Trey Hendrickson is likely to undergo core muscle surgery, which would end his season, NFL Network Insiders Ian Rapoport and Tom Pelissero reported.


ROSTER CUTS

  • WR Jermaine Burton, who was suspended by the club for Week 14, has been waived, head coach Zac Taylor told reporters. A third-round pick in 2024, Burton hasn't played a game this season for the Bengals.

  • WR DK Metcalf stayed overnight in Baltimore after going to the hospital with stomach pains after Sunday's win over the Ravens, team spokesman Burt Lauten told NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. Metcalf's stay was out of an abundance of caution and meant to rule out any significant internal injuries after the WR took a hard hit during the game, per Rapoport. Metcalf will fly back to Pittsburgh on Monday. The receiver's status for next Monday night's against Miami is still to be determined.
