There is no change at the top of the Power Rankings this week as the Los Angeles Rams and Seattle Seahawks remain on an NFC Championship Game collision course. New England, Indianapolis and Denver – from a much more wide open AFC – round out my top five.
- LOS ANGELES RAMS --
Matthew Stafford continues to play at an amazing level and the Rams are very much looking like the best team in the NFL and deserving of their top seed in the NFC..
- SEATTLE SEAHAWKS --
Right behind them are the Seattle Seahawks and star wide receiver Jaxson Smith-Njigba who's on pace for a 2,000 receiving yards this season. That would be a new NFL record.
- NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS +1
Last week's victory over Cincinnati came at a price with offensive tackle Will Campbell sidelined for a few weeks but the Patriots are the first NFL team to 10 wins on the year.
- INDIANAPOLIS COLTS -1
When the running game is not firing on all cylinders – as was the case in KC last weekend – the pressure on Daniel Jones increases. That is a concern.
- DENVER BRONCOS +1
The Broncos will look to extend their winning streak to nine games as they come out of their bye to face Washington. Sean Payton's men are not going away.
- PHILADELPHIA EAGLES -1
The Eagles fell through the floor, offensively, against Dallas after opening up a 21-0 lead. And now there are questions being asked about the predictability of the attack.
- GREEN BAY PACKERS +2
The Packers found some fresh legs at running back last week as Emmanuel Wilson went over 100 rushing yards and scored twice. That could prove useful.
- DETROIT LIONS --
Detroit's offensive firepower – highlighted by Jahmyr Gibbs – was on full display in Week 12. But is anyone else concerned about how deep they had to dig to beat the Giants?
- BUFFALO BILLS -2
The Bills are so hard to work out. It feels like they are more dependant than ever on finding some Josh Allen magic. They get pushed around too much at times.
- CHICAGO BEARS +4
The Bears have won eight of their last nine games and are 6-0 in their last six one-score games. Ben Johnson's men have belief that they will find a way.
- BALTIMORE RAVENS --
After they opened 1-5, I didn't expect the Ravens to catch and pass the Steelers before Thanksgiving. This 6-5 team is in first place, but is Lamar Jackson a worry?
- KANSAS CITY CHIEFS +3
The Chiefs remain alive at 6-5 and are not going quietly into the night. But, in reality, the pressure is on because they still need to win four or five of their last six.
- SAN FRANCISCO 49ERS --
The 49ers continue to benefit from their soft schedule and have improved to 8-4 on the season. But Brock Purdy looked very out of sorts on Monday against Carolina.
- JACKSONVILLE JAGUARS +2
The good news for the Jags is that they overcame four Trevor Lawrence turnovers to beat Arizona last week. The bad news is that Lawrence still has such struggles.
- HOUSTON TEXANS +4
The Texans have won three in a row and while they have been powered by arguably the NFL's best defense, we should also give credit to QB Davis Mills, who has led those victories.
- PITTSBURGH STEELERS -4
The Steelers should get Aaron Rodgers back on Sunday, but it is going to take something special to reverse this slide. Pittsburgh have lost four of their last six.
- LOS ANGELES CHARGERS --
The Chargers will have licked their wounds during their bye week after that hammering in Jacksonville. But they have the ultimate "get right" game against the Raiders.
- DALLAS COWBOYS +2
The Cowboys are riding high with two big wins and Dak Prescott to George Pickens has been one of the most breathtaking sights of the past NFL month.
- TAMPA BAY BUCCANEERS -9
The slumping Bucs are through a horrible run but can get right with games against Arizona, New Orleans, Atlanta and Carolina. But will Baker Mayfield be out for a while?
- CAROLINA PANTHERS -2
That was not a good showing from Bryce Young and the Carolina attack during a stuttering loss to San Francisco on Monday night.
- MIAMI DOLPHINS --
The 4-7 Dolphins have some winnable games coming up as they emerge from their bye week, starting with a home contest against the New Orleans Saints on Sunday.
- ATLANTA FALCONS +2
Kirk Cousins delivered a win last week and Atlanta's pass rush continues to impress. While they're only two back from the Bucs, the Falcons don't look like a playoff team.
- ARIZONA CARDINALS --
The Cardinals are feisty, but they cannot finish. They have lost six games by one score in 2025, with the latest being Sunday's overtime defeat to Jacksonville.
- MINNESOTA VIKINGS -2
The JJ McCarthy implosion is taking down an entire team that played for the NFC's top seed in Week 18 last year. He doesn't look up to the task and his future is cloudy.
- CINCINNATI BENGALS --
The Bengals are set to welcome Joe Burrow back to the line-up having ruined any chance of late-season magic with four straight defeats.
- CLEVELAND BROWNS +4
Shedeur Sanders is a hype magnet, but he won't be the reason for many wins and losses in Cleveland. The driving force of this team remains pass-rusher Myles Garrett.
- NEW YORK GIANTS --
Mike Kafka is dialling up fun plays as New York's interim head coach and Jameis Winston has been fun to watch. Jaxson Dart will be back soon to further grow his game.
- WASHINGTON COMMANDERS -2
The injuries have been awful for a Washington team that has now lost six in a row, but perhaps they showed flaws in an ageing roster? Changes are needed in the offseason.
- NEW YORK JETS -1
The Jets got a little bit more juice out of Tyrod Taylor last week, but it didn't matter – they still lost. This team is now 2-9 in another wasted season.
- NEW ORLEANS SAINTS -1
The Saints are another team just playing out the slate. And, like the Jets, their fortunes won't truly change until they find a franchise quarterback.
- TENNESSEE TITANS +1
Cam Ward played his best game of the season in a closer-than-expected loss to Seattle last week. That's how low the bar is set in Nashville. Close losses are seen as positives.
- LAS VEGAS RAIDERS -1
I sometimes wonder why Tom Brady is messing about being involved with these Raiders. He is not happy. Will he influence another head coach/QB change soon?
