The following is a list of injured players for Week 9 (November 4-5) and the fantasy implications of all the major injuries:
**Arizona Cardinals**
Questionable: LB Karlos Dansby (knee), T Mike Gandy (calf); Probable: S Aaron Francisco (knee), QB Kurt Warner (left elbow).
Fantasy take: Dansby is not expected to be active in Week 9, so look for Monty Beisel to see more work in his absence. Warner is fine and will start in Tampa Bay.
**Atlanta Falcons**
Out: QB Byron Leftwich (ankle); Doubtful: TE Alge Crumpler (knee, ankle); Questionable: LB Stephen Nicholas (ankle), DT Montavious Stanley (knee), T Todd Weiner (knee).
Fantasy take: Joey Harrington will start in the absence of Leftwich, who has been ruled out for Week 9. Crumpler missed another practice, so fantasy owners need to look for alternatives at tight end.
**Baltimore Ravens**
Out: TE Daniel Wilcox (foot); Doubtful: CB Chris McAlister (knee); Questionable: T Jared Gaither (ankle), TE Todd Heap (thigh), CB Samari Rolle (illness); Probable: LB Antwan Barnes (thigh), C Mike Flynn (knee), QB Steve McNair (groin, back), DT Trevor Pryce (wrist), K Matt Stover (right thigh), TE Quinn Sypniewski (knee), T Adam Terry (ankle).
Fantasy take: Heap was limited in Friday's practice, so he's a serious risk for fantasy owners in Week 9. Sypniewski will start if Heap is unavailable. McNair will start in Pittsburgh, but he's not an attractive fantasy option. Stover has been added to the injury report and will start.
**Buffalo Bills**
Doubtful: QB Trent Edwards (right wrist), LB Leon Joe (back); Questionable: WR Sam Aiken (hamstring), DE Ryan Denney (foot), S Jim Leonhard (calf), TE Ryan Neufeld (thigh), CB Ashton Youboty (ankle).
Fantasy take: J.P. Losman has been named the starter for Week 9, and he's a nice sleeper against Cincinnati.
**Carolina Panthers**
Out: LB Dan Morgan (ankle); Questionable: QB Vinny Testaverde (Achilles); Probable: LB Adam Seward (calf).
Fantasy take: With Testaverde listed as questionable for Week 9, look for David Carr to start in Tennessee.
**Cincinnati Bengals**
Out: T Willie Anderson (knee), LB Ahmad Brooks (groin), LB Caleb Miller (back); Questionable: DE John Thornton (neck); Probable: WR Chad Johnson (ankle), RB Rudi Johnson (hamstring), S Herana-Daze Jones (shoulder), DE Justin Smith (hamstring), RB Kenny Watson (head).
Fantasy take: Rudi Johnson has returned to work and appears set to start in Week 9. He could share carries with Watson, who returned to practice late in the week and will be active against Buffalo. Chad Johnson will start and is a solid option in Buffalo.
**Cleveland Browns**
Out: LB D'Qwell Jackson (ankle)); Limited in practice: CB Leigh Bodden (back), RB Lawrence Vickers (concussion); Doubtful: LB Kris Griffin (Achilles); Probable: CB Leigh Bodden (back), RB Lawrence Vickers (concussion).
Fantasy take: Jamal Lewis (foot) and Joe Jurevicius (player decision) have been removed from the injury report and will start against Seattle.
**Dallas Cowboys**
Out: WR Terry Glenn (knee); Questionable: CB Anthony Henry (ankle); Probable: RB Oliver Hoyte (neck); LB Justin Rogers (calf).
Fantasy take: Patrick Crayton will continue to start in the absence of Glenn. Henry returned to work on a limited basis late in the week, but his status for Week 9 remains uncertain.
**Denver Broncos**
Out: WR Javon Walker (knee), DE Jarvis Moss (leg); Questionable: S John Lynch (neck); Probable: CB Champ Bailey (quadriceps), DT Antwon Burton (ankle), RB Travis Henry (ribs), G Montrae Holland (shoulder), WR Brandon Stokley (hamstring), LB D.J. Williams (shoulder).
Fantasy take: Stokley will continue to start in the absence of Walker. Henry returned to full practice this week, so it looks like he'll start in Detroit. Bailey is probable and will start.
**Detroit Lions**
Probable: T George Foster (ankle), WR Calvin Johnson (back); Questionable: DE Kalimba Edwards (knee).
Fantasy take: Johnson returned to full work on Thursday and should be fine for Week 9. He's a nice No. 3 fantasy wideout against Denver.
**Green Bay Packers**
Out: CB Will Blackmon (foot), TE Bubba Franks (knee), DT Justin Harrell (ankle); Questionable: G Junius Coston (ankle), DT Ryan Pickett (knee), CB Frank Walker (knee) ; Probable: T Chad Clifton (knee), S Nick Collins (knee), RB Korey Hall (neck), CB Al Harris (back), WR Ruvell Martin (back), WR Koren Robinson (knee), C Scott Wells (illness), CB Charles Woodson (foot).
Fantasy take: Robinson is eligible to return to action this week, but he would do much of his work on special teams. Donald Lee will continue to see more work in the absence of Franks. Harris and Woodson are both probable, which is good news for the value of the Green Bay defense.
**Houston Texans**
Out: CB Jamar Fletcher (appendicitis), WR Andre Johnson (knee), QB Matt Schaub (concussion), G Kasey Studdard (groin); Probable: S C.C. Brown (shoulder), K Kris Brown (left foot), TE Owen Daniels (ankle), WR Andre Davis (chest), TE Joel Dreessen (elbow), RB Joe Echemandu (thigh), C Mike Flanagan (head), RB Ahman Green (knee), G Chester Pitts (illness), LB DeMeco Ryans (ankle), T Ephraim Salaam (hand).
Fantasy take: Sage Rosenfels has been named the Texans' starter for Week 9, but he's not an attractive option in Oakland. Head coach Gary Kubiak is concerned about Green, who is listed as probable but could share carries with Ron Dayne and Echemandu. Johnson is now out until Week 11, so Kevin Walter is a nice option in Week 9. Daniels put in a full practice on Friday and will start, barring setbacks.
**Indianapolis Colts**
Questionable: WR Marvin Harrison (team decision), LB Freddy Keiaho (ear), T Tony Ugoh (neck), LB Tyjuan Hagler (neck); Probable: T Ryan Diem (team decision).
Fantasy take: Reports indicate Harrison will be a gametime decision for Week 9, so Anthony Gonzalez has a chance to start against New England. The potential absence of Ugoh and Diem would hurt the Colts offensive line. S Bob Sanders (team decision) and DE Dwight Freeney (team decision) are not on the injury report.
**Jacksonville Jaguars**
Out: QB David Garrard (ankle), K Josh Scobee (right quadriceps); Questionable: LB Daryl Smith (back), TE Greg Estandia (foot), CB Brian Williams (hamstring); Probable: DT Marcus Stroud (thigh).
**Kansas City Chiefs**
Questionable: LB Keyaron Fox (hamstring), WR Eddie Kennison (hamstring).
Fantasy take: It appears that Kennison has at least a chance to start in Week 9, so Samie Parker could return to his role as a slot receiver.
**Minnesota Vikings**
Questionable: QB Kelly Holcomb (neck), WR Bobby Wade (knee), WR Troy Williamson (personal), CB Antoine Winfield (hamstring); Probable: LB Vinny Ciurciu (ankle), T Ryan Cook (shoulder), QB Tarvaris Jackson (right hand), DE Erasmus James (shoulder), DE Brian Robison (illness), S Dwight Smith (hamstring).
Fantasy take: Jackson was limited in Friday's practice, but he's expected to return in Week 9. Williamson and Wade both missed some practice this week, but neither has much fantasy relevance.
**New England Patriots**
Out: RB Sammy Morris (chest); Questionable: LB Eric Alexander (knee), S Mel Mitchell (groin), S Eugene Wilson (ankle), LB Mike Vrabel (shoulder), TE Benjamin Watson (ankle); Probable: QB Tom Brady (right shoulder).
Fantasy take: Morris has been placed on injured reserve and is out for the season, so Kevin Faulk and Heath Evans have fantasy relevance behind Laurence Maroney. Randy Moss (team decision) and Adalius Thomas (ankle) are not on the injury report, but Watson's status remains uncertain.
**New Orleans Saints**
Out: C Jeff Faine (pectoral); Doubtful: LB Scott Shanle (hamstring); Questionable: LB Alfred Fincher (concussion); Probable: DT Brian Young (knee).
**New York Jets**
Doubtful: WR Laveranues Coles (concussion); Questionable: TE Chris Baker (back), DE Mike Devito (shoulder), DT Dewayne Robertson (knee), S Kerry Rhodes (knee); Probable: S Abram Elam (neck), DE C.J. Mosley (shoulder), QB Chad Pennington (ankle), CB Hank Poteat (chest), S Eric Smith (thigh), T Adrian Jones (player decision).
Fantasy take: Coles could miss Week 9, so keep tabs on his status at gametime. Justin McCareins and Brad Smith would see more work in his absence. Sean Ryan would start if Baker misses another week. Pennington put in full practices all week, but he has been benched in favor of Kellen Clemens.
**Oakland Raiders**
Out: DT Gerard Warren (quadriceps), LB Sam Williams (shoulder); Doubtful: C Jake Grove (knee); Questionable: WR Ronald Curry (foot); Probable: T Cornell Green (knee), QB Josh McCown (toe).
**Philadelphia Eagles**
Questionable: WR Jason Avant (groin); Probable: WR Reggie Brown (neck), TE Brent Celek (ankle), S Sean Considine (ankle), S Brian Dawkins (neck), CB William James (foot), DE Jevon Kearse (knee), WR Greg Lewis (chest), T Jon Runyan (glute), CB Lito Sheppard (knee).
Fantasy take: Brown returned to full practice on Friday and will start in Week 9. Dawkins and Sheppard are both expected to return, which is good news for the value of the Philadelphia defense. L.J. Smith (groin) is not on the injury report.
**Pittsburgh Steelers**
Out: S Ryan Clark (spleen), TE Jerame Tuman (back); Doubtful: DE Aaron Smith (knee); Probable: G Alan Faneca (back) .
Fantasy take: No significant injuries.
**San Diego Chargers**
Out: C Nick Hardwick; Questionable: WR Craig Davis (ankle), LB Shaun Phillips (groin); Probable: CB Quentin Jammer (hamstring), LB Matt Wilhelm (ankle), DT Ryon Bingham (shoulder).
**San Francisco 49ers**
Doubtful: CB Walt Harris (knee), T Jonas Jennings (ankle), S Keith Lewis (hamstring); Questionable: RB Frank Gore (ankle); Probable: WR Darrell Jackson (quadriceps), WR Michael Lewis (player decision), QB Alex Smith (right shoulder), TE Delanie Walker (shoulder).
Fantasy take: Gore was limited in practice most of the week, so be sure to keep tabs on his status at gametime. Maurice Hicks and Michael Robinson would see more work if Gore is out or limited. Jackson and Smith should both start in Atlanta, but neither has great fantasy value.
**Seattle Seahawks**
Out: TE Marcus Pollard (knee), T Ray Willis (knee); Questionable: WR Deion Branch (foot); Probable: RB Shaun Alexander (wrist), DT Rocky Bernard (groin), QB Matt Hasselbeck (oblique), T Walter Jones (shoulder).
Fantasy take: Branch could be a gametime decision for Week 9, so keep tabs on his status over the weekend. D.J. Hackett (ankle) isn't on the injury report and will return to face Cleveland. Hasselbeck and Alexander will both start and should be active in fantasy leagues. Will Heller is a nice low-end sleeper in the absence of Pollard.
**Tampa Bay Buccaneers**
Questionable: LB Quincy Black (hamstring), DE Patrick Chukwurah (shoulder), WR Michael Clayton (ankle), WR Ike Hilliard (calf), CB Brian Kelly (groin), RB Michael Pittman (ankle); Probable: TE Alex Smith (ankle), DE Greg Spires (calf).
Fantasy take: Pittman did some limited work this week, but he is still expected to be out until Week 11. Smith has been upgraded to probable and should be active, but he has little fantasy value. Hilliard and Clayton are both questionable, so Maurice Stovall could see more work.
**Tennessee Titans**
Out: RB Ahmard Hall (forearm); Questionable: RB Chris Brown (ankle); Probable: LB Keith Bulluck (thigh), DT Albert Haynesworth (ankle), G Benji Olson (back), RB LenDale White (toe), QB Vince Young (quadriceps).
Fantasy take: Bulluck returned to full practice late in the week and will start in Week 9. Brown's status remains uncertain, but he has no chance to unseat LenDale White even when he does return. Rookie Chris Henry would see more work with Brown out. Rob Bironas (team decision) is not on the injury report.
**Washington Redskins**
Out: G Randy Thomas (triceps); Questionable: G Mike Pucillo (back), LB Marcus Washington (hamstring); Probable: RB Rock Cartwright (quadriceps), CB Fred Smoot (hamstring), TE Todd Yoder (ankle), WR James Thrash (hamstring).
Fantasy take: Clinton Portis (team decision) missed practice on Friday, but he was not added to the injury report and is a solid option in Week 9.
