At 6-foot-2, 200-plus pounds, Diggs has phenomenal size for his position and with wide receiver experience a knack for the ball (three interceptions as a senior). Though there's room for improvement, Diggs is instantly an asset with his ability to match up with the biggest-bodied receivers in the game.
Later Friday, the Cowboys used the 82nd overall pick to add depth to the defensive line with Oklahoma product Neville Gallimore. Gallimore, a native Canadian, is the second Sooner taken by the Cowboys, who used their first-round pick on wide receiver CeeDee Lamb. Gallimore will also join a former Sooner on the defensive line as the Cowboys signed Gerald McCoy in free agency.
