Buckeyes Lead The Way
Ohio State led all colleges with 56 players on active NFL Kickoff Weekend rosters. Alabama, second with 55 players in 2026, had placed the most or tied for the most players on season-opening rosters in each of the previous nine seasons (2017-2025). Georgia (52 players), LSU (44) and Notre Dame (40) rounded out the top five.

On NFL Kickoff rosters, there were 297 players weighing under 200 pounds, 255 players under six-feet tall and 390 players weighing over 300 pounds.
Philadelphia had 14 players weighing less than 200 pounds, the most in that category. San Francisco had 13 players under six-feet tall, while Green Bay had 16 players weighing over 300 pounds.
