2022 NFL season, Week 10: Notable injuries, news from Sunday's games

Here are the injuries and news we're monitoring around the league on this Week 10 Sunday:

  • Arizona Cardinals tight end Zach Ertz (knee) did not return after being labeled as questionable against the Rams.
  • Buffalo Bills linebacker Tremaine Edmunds (groin) did not return after being labeled as questionable versus the Vikings. Wide receiver Jake Kumerow (ankle) was ruled out.
  • Denver Broncos wide receiver Jerry Jeudy was ruled out versus the Titans with an ankle injury, and was carted to the locker room. NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport said Jeudy was being evaluated for a injury to the back of his ankle, but not to his Achilles. Coach Nathaniel Hackett said post-game that they're hoping they "dodged a bullet" with Jeudy's injury. Offensive tackle Billy Turner (knee) and center Graham Glasgow (shoulder) were ruled out. Cornerback K'Waun Williams (knee) did not return after being labeled as questionable.
  • Chicago Bears running back Khalil Herbert (hip) was ruled out versus the Lions.
  • Detroit Lions safety DeShon Elliott (concussion protocol) was ruled out versus the Bears. Wide receiver Trinity Benson (knee) was ruled out.
  • Indianapolis Colts defensive end Kwity Paye was ruled out with an ankle injury versus the Raiders.
  • Kansas City Chiefs cornerback Chris Lammons and wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster were both downgraded to out, and coach Andy Reid confirmed after the game that both had suffered concussions. Offensive tackle Andrew Wylie (elbow) was downgraded to out versus the Jaguars, and Reid said he had suffered a sprained elbow.
  • Los Angeles Chargers defensive tackle Otito Ogbonnia (knee), tight end Gerald Everett (groin) and defensive lineman Christian Covington (pectoral) did not return in Sunday night's game against the 49ers.
  • Los Angeles Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp did not return versus the Cardinals after suffering an ankle injury in the fourth quarter. After the game, coach Sean McVay said he didn't have an update yet, but that "it didn't look good, it didn't sound good."
  • Miami Dolphins defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah (elbow) was ruled out versus the Browns. Rapoport later reported that Ogbah had suffered a torn triceps, per a source, and will be out for the season. Cornerback Keion Crossen went to the locker room with a shoulder injury and was ruled out.
  • Minnesota Vikings cornerback Akayleb Evans and left tackle Christian Darrisaw are both in concussion protocol after leaving Sunday's game versus the Bills, coach Kevin O'Connell said. O'Connell also said linebacker Za'Darius Smith has a knee contusion.
  • New Orleans Saints tackle James Hurst (concussion) was ruled out against Pittsburgh.
  • San Francisco 49ers linebacker Dre Greenlaw was ejected in the second quarter of Sunday night's game for a helmet-to-helmet hit against Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert.
  • Seattle Seahawks wide receiver D'Wayne Eskridge did not return versus the Buccaneers with a hand injury.
  • Tampa Bay Buccaneers running back Leonard Fournette (hip) did not return versus the Seahawks after exiting the game in late in the second half. Coach Todd Bowles said Fournette has a hip pointer and will be evaluated further. Cornerback Zyon McCollum was ruled out after being evaluated for a concussion.
