Tony Jefferson is back. The former Baltimore Ravens safety is signing a one-year deal with the San Francisco 49ers after an entire season out of football.

The NFL preseason has ended. The regular season is less than a week away from kicking off and that means it's time for teams to cut their rosters down to 53 players before Saturday's deadline.

The Falcon announced Monday that the team has agreed to terms with veteran safety J.J. Wilcox on a one-year deal. Financial terms of the contract were not disclosed.
