- New York's offense has improved their total yards, first downs, and points each week this season. Eli Manning's play has steadily improved, and the offensive line mauled Houston on Sunday in the running game. New offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo said the goal for Manning was to complete 70 percent of his passes this season, which sounded laughable after the team's ugly preseason. Manning has hit 70.1 percent over the last two weeks.
- The Redskins' secondary is very banged up after losing cornerback DeAngelo Hall and safety Duke Ihenacho for the season. This should be a game Manning can go deep, but they haven't been able to hit long passes this year. Rueben Randle is a player to watch Thursday night.
- Kirk Cousins has showed a lot in his first two starts this season. He's making calm, smart decisions on third down. And he's shown a better ability to go deep than expected. Cousins does not have a huge arm, but he's connected on a few "wow" throws down the field that we weren't sure he was capable of.

- There should be a great matchup out wide when the Redskins are on offense. DeSean Jackson and Pierre Garcon form one of the best wide receiver duos in the league. Giants cornerbacks Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie and Prince Amukamara are coming off two excellent games as a tandem. Amukamara has made great strides, and DRC is the rare cornerback that truly tracks the opposition's top receiver.
