Week 12 inactives

The following is a list of inactive players for Week 12 (November 25-26) and the fantasy implications of all the major absences:

Monday, Nov. 26, 8:30pm EST

Miami Dolphins
Inactives: WR Kerry Reed, RB Lorenzo Booker, DB Jereme Perry, DB Tuff Harris, LB Zach Thomas, DT Anthony Bryant, DE Rob Ninkovich, DE Matt Roth.

Fantasy take: RB Jesse Chatman is active and will start, but RB Ricky Williams is also active and will see carries as well. The absence of Thomas is great news for Steelers RB Willie Parker.

Pittsburgh Steelers
Inactives: QB Brian St. Pierre (3rd QB), WR Santonio Holmes, RB Gary Russell, SS Troy Polamalu, LB LaMarr Woodley, C Marvin Philip, G Darnell Stapleton, T Marvel Smith.

Fantasy take: WRs Nate Washington and Cedrick Wilson will see more work with Holmes out of action. Polamalu is inactive, but the Pittsburgh defense is still a solid option in fantasy football leagues.

8:15pm EST

New England Patriots
Inactives: QB Matt Gutierrez (3rd QB), WR Chad Jackson, S Mel Mitchell, DB Eugene Wilson, G Wesley Britt, G Billy Yates, DT Le Kevin Smith, DT Kareem Brown.

4pm EST

Arizona Cardinals
Inactives: QB Tim Hasselbeck (3rd QB), SS Adrian Wilson, FB Tim Castille, DB Aaron Francisco, T Elton Brown, TE Tim Euhus, WR Jerheme Urban, DT Ross Kolodziej.

Fantasy take: The absence of Wilson hurts owners in IDP formats. QB Kurt Warner is active and will start against San Francisco.

Baltimore Ravens
Inactives: QB Steve McNair (3rd QB), CB Chris McAlister, DB Gerome Sapp, T Jared Gaither, TE Daniel Wilcox, TE Todd Heap, WR Demetrius Williams, LN Edgar Jones.

Chicago Bears
Inactives: QB Kyle Orton (3rd QB), CB Nathan Vasher, RB Lousaka Polite, LB Nick Roach, LB Darrell McClover, G Josh Beekman, WR Mike Hass, DE Antonio Garay.

Fantasy take: The absence of Vasher improves the value of the Denver wide receivers.

Denver Broncos:
Inactives: QB Darrell Hackney (3rd QB), WR Taylor Jacobs, RB Travis Henry, RB Paul Smith, DB Jeff Shoate, RB Selvin Young, DE Larry Birdine, DE Paul Carrington.

Fantasy take: Henry and Young are both inactive, so RB Andre Hall will start against a vulnerable Chicago run defense. WR Javon Walker is active and will see his first action since Week 3. His return hurts the value of WR Brandon Stokley.

San Diego Chargers
Inactives: QB Charlie Whitehurst (3rd QB) , CB Paul Oliver, FB Andrew Pinnock , LB Anthony Waters , T Roman Oben, WR Malcom Floyd , TE Scott Chandler , DE Luis Castillo .

Carolina Panthers
Inactives: QB Vinny Testaverde (3rd QB), CB Chris Gamble, RB Alex Haynes, LB James Anderson, G Evan Mathis, T Frank Omiyale, DT Gary Gibson, DE Charles Johnson.

Fantasy take: QB David Carr will start with Testaverde out, so the fantasy value of WR Steve Smith takes a hit. Smith is active and will start against New Orleans, but he and Carr don't have a great rapport. RB DeShaun Foster is active and will start.

Cincinnati Bengals
Inactives: QB Jeff Rowe (3rd QB), CB David Jones, DB Herana-Daze Jones, G Dan Santucci, T Willie Anderson, TE Nate Lawrie, DE Frostee Rucker, LB Roy Manning.

Fantasy take: RB Chester Taylor will start and see most of the carries with Peterson out.

New Orleans Saints
Inactives: WR Robert Meachem, DB Jay Bellamy, CB Fred Thomas, LB Matt McCoy, G Andy Alleman, DT Brian Young, T Jermon Bushrod, DE Josh Cooper.

Fantasy take: RB Reggie Bush is active and will start in Carolina, so it appears safe to use him in fantasy leagues.

New York Giants
Inactives: QB Jared Lorenzen (3rd QB), WR Steve Smith, CB Corey Webster, RB Brandon Jacobs, RB Derrick Ward, T Adam Koets, DT Manuel Wright, G Kevin Boothe.

Fantasy take: RB Reuben Droughns will start and see most of the carries with Jacobs and Ward out. WR Plaxico Burress is active and will start against Minnesota.

Tennessee Titans
Inactives: WR Paul Williams, WR Mike Williams, WR Chris Davis, DB Kelly Herndon, FB Ahmard Hall, C Benji Olson, DE Travis LaBoy, DT Albert Haynesworth.

Fantasy take: The absence of Haynesworth is good news for the value of Cincinnati's RB Rudi Johnson and RB Kenny Watson.

Washington Redskins
Inactives: QB Mark Brunell (3rd QB), FS Sean Taylor, DB David Macklin, FB Mike Sellers, T Todd Wade, DT Ryan Boschetti, G Randy Thomas, WR James Thrash.
