The Arizona Cardinals defense suffered a huge loss.
Coach Kliff Kingsbury said defensive tackle Corey Peters is out for the season with a knee injury. NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported test results show Peters suffered a torn patellar tendon injury in the first half of the Cardinals' win over the Bills on Sunday, per sources informed.
The 32-year-old started every game for the last five seasons. He recorded 10 tackles and two sacks this season.
Arizona takes on the Seahawks Thursday night in Seattle. The NFC West showdown kicks off at 8:20 p.m. ET and airs on NFL Network, FOX and Amazon Prime Video. The defensive line will have to try to stop Russell Wilson without its team leader.
The Cardinals are hosting defensive tackle Domata Peko Sr., per Rapoport.

- Detroit Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford was noncommittal with reporters about playing Sunday versus the Panthers after injuring his thumb in Week 10, adding that he hopes to practice later this week. "Just taking it day to day," Stafford said. "Trying to figure out if I can get through it. ... See if I can go out there and play." - The Carolina Panthers said running back Christian McCaffrey (shoulder) is not expected to play in Sunday's game against the Lions.
- The Cleveland Browns placed right tackle Jack Conklin, kicker Cody Parkey and long snapper Charley Hughlett on the reserve/COVID-19 list. Defensive end Myles Garrett is at home sick Wednesday, according to coach Kevin Stefanski. His illness is not COVID-related.
- Los Angeles Chargers defensive end Joey Bosa, who had been in the concussion protocol, was a full participant Wednesday. Cornerback Chris Harris, who's been sidelined since Week 3 with a foot injury, returned to practice.
- Denver Broncos quarterback Drew Lock has made good progress from his rib injury, but did not practice Wednesday, per coach Vic Fangio.
- The Dallas Cowboys activated quarterback Andy Dalton and defensive end Tyrone Crawford from the reserve/COVID-19 list and placed cornerback Trevon Diggs Diggs on injured reserve.
- The New York Giants placed punter Riley Dixon and long snapper Casey Kreiter on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
- Bengals running back Joe Mixon (foot) did not practice Wednesday. Cincinnati signed cornerbacks Donnie Lewis and Trajan Bandy to their practice squad. Practice squad safety Trayvon Henderson was placed on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
- Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa (foot) was included in the team's injury report, but as a full participant. Linebacker Kyle Van Noy (hip) did not practice. The team announced it promoted wide receiver Antonio Callaway to the active roster and elevated defensive tackle Benito Jones as a COVID-19 replacement for Sunday's game.
- Indianapolis Colts tight end Jack Doyle (concussion) did not practice.
- Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley (foot) was limited in practice Wednesday.
- The Los Angeles Rams placed three players from their practice squad, tight end Kendall Blanton, defensive back Jake Gervase and wide receiver J.J. Koski, on the reserve/COVID-19 list.

- The San Francisco 49ers claimed former Falcons defensive end Takkarist McKinley off waivers and placed rookie defensive tackle Javon Kinlaw on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
