Twenty-six things to know about Week 17 injuries

The Bills will be without their No. 1 running back Sunday.

Among those officially ruled out Sunday by Buffalo was running back LeSean McCoy, who is dealing with a knee injury.

Also ruled out: tight end Charles Clay (on injured reserve with a back injury), linebacker Nigel Bradham (ankle) and wideout Marcus Easley (knee). Cornerback Ronald Darby, who sat out last week with a groin injury, is expected to play, coach Rex Ryan said.

Rookie Karlos Williams and emerging runner Mike Gillislee will share the workload Sunday against the Jets.

Though their playoff hopes were extinguished a few weeks ago, Ryan would love to help keep his former squad out of the postseason by doing their part and getting a win.

Here are other injuries we've been tracking this weekend:

  1. The Seahawks ruled out running back Marshawn Lynch from their finale with the Cardinals. Lynch hasn't played since Week 10 due to an abdomen injury, but Pete Carroll said he expects the veteran to return to practice on Monday as the team prepares for the postseason.

With Lynch out this week and Thomas Rawls on injured reserve, the workload will be split between Christine Michael, Bryce Brown and Fred Jackson.

  1. The Cardinals might be without pass rusher Dwight Freeney against the Seahawks. Freeney is questionable due to a knee injury. Receiver Michael Floyd (knee), safety Rashad Johnson (ankle, illness) and defensive tackle Frostee Rucker (ankle) are also questionable.
  1. The Chiefs got linebacker Justin Houston (knee) back in practice. He has missed the last four games and would be a huge piece to get back for the playoffs next weekend. He is questionable for Sunday. Linebacker Tamba Hali (thumb/knee) is questionable.
  1. Todd Gurley (foot) is doubtful to go for the Rams in their finale against the 49ers.
  1. The Jaguars will wrap up their season without rooking running back T.J. Yeldon, who was ruled out of Sunday's finale due to an MCL sprain that's sidelined him the past two weeks. Coach Gus Bradley announced the news.
  1. Panthers running backs Jonathan Stewart (foot) and Fozzy Whittaker (ankle) have been ruled out. Receiver Ted Ginn (knee) and safety Kurt Coleman (foot) are doubtful.
  1. Wideout Julian Edelman (foot) didn't travel with the team to Miami, NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport reported. He was later ruled out for the game by the team. In addition, the Patriots announced offensive tackle Sebastian Vollmer (ankle), defensive end Chandler Jones (abdomen/toe) and linebacker Dont'a Hightower (knee).
  1. The Colts officially ruled out Matt Hasselbeck (shoulder/ribs) to go along with an inactive Andrew Luck at the quarterback position. Coach Chuck Pagano said he didn't yet know who will start under center against the Titans. The Colts also waived wideout Griff Whalen. He was placed on IR a few weeks back with broken ribs.
  1. Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning (foot) is probable. Linebacker Brandon Marshall (ankle) and safety T.J. Ward (ankle) are questionable for Sunday.
  1. The Titans have ruled out wideout Kendall Wright (knee) and offensive lineman Taylor Lewan (concussion) for their season finale against the Colts. Tight end Phillip Supernaw (groin) is questionable to play.
  1. Jets running back Bilal Powell is questionable against the Bills.
  1. Bears wideout Eddie Royal (illness) is doubtful for Sunday. Questionable for Chicago are running back Matt Forte (back) and Pernell McPhee (knee). Linebacker Shea McClellin remains in concussion protocol.

  1. Redskins safety Dashon Goldson (rib) has been ruled out. Running back Matt Jones (hip) is doubtful.

  1. The Dolphins placed wide receiver Rishard Matthews (ribs) on Injured Reserve and signed linebacker Mike Hull off of the practice squad. Wideout Kenny Stills (thigh) is questionable. Center Mike Pouncey is doubtful.
  1. Vikings defensive tackle Linval Joseph (foot) is doubtful.
  1. Cowboys guard La'el Collins (ankle) didn't practice and is doubtful. Cornerback Morris Claiborne (hamstring) and linebacker Sean Lee (hamstring) are questionable.
  1. Browns wideout Travis Benjamin (ankle), linebacker Karlos Dansby (toe), and offensive tackle Joe Thomas (knee) are questionable.
  1. Packers linebacker Mike Neal (hip) and defensive tackle B.J. Raji (concussion) have been upgraded to probable for Sunday's game against the Vikings. Cornerback Sam Shields (concussion) has been downgraded to doubtful.
