Texans TE Daniels says knee will not limit him vs. Colts

Houston Texans tight end Owen Daniels is active Thursday night against the Indianapolis Colts despite a hyperextended knee, and he told NFL Network's Alex Flanagan that he's good enough to play without any reservations.

Daniels, the team's leading receiver with 53 receptions for 673 yards, was listed as questionable on the Texans' injury report Wednesday after he was limited in practice this week.

Wide receiver Andre Johnson was ruled out earlier in the week. He joins quarterback Jeff Garcia, tight end Garrett Graham, guard Mike Brisiel, offensive tackle Andrew Gardner, cornerback Sherrick McManis and safety Troy Nolan on the Texans' inactive list.

Inactive for the Colts are quarterback Peyton Manning, defensive back Mike Holmes, tight end Dallas Clark, linebackers Philip Wheeler and Scott Lutrus, offensive tackle Quinn Ojinnaka and defensive end Mario Addison.
