Midway through Championship Week, the Green Bay Packers are dealing with an ailing receiver corps.
Adams suffered an ankle injury late the Divisional Round win over the Dallas Cowboys, but returned to the game. McCarthy said he doesn't think Adams will practice at least until Saturday because they want to see him move throughout the week.
"We've won without them before. We'd like to have them out there, but we'll see what happens," the quarterback said of the prospect of playing without two of his top receiving targets.
If neither Adams or Nelson is able to play, the Packers would roll with a receiver corps of Randall Cobb, Geronimo Allison and Jeff Janis. Big-play tight end Jared Cook's role would likely grow in the event the wideout corps is limited.
McCarthy added that safety Morgan Burnett (quad) is also working in the rehab group.
