Steelers center Pouncey out vs. Broncos

DENVER (AP) - The Pittsburgh Steelers will be without All-Pro center Maurkice Pouncey for the AFC wild-card game against the Denver Broncos on Sunday.

Pouncey has been hampered all week with an ankle injury. Doug Legursky will start in his place, as he did in the Super Bowl last year.

Spencer Larsen (knee) and Austin Sylvester (healthy scratch) won't play, leaving the Broncos without a true fullback. Last week, the team ruled out safety Brian Dawkins with a neck injury. David Bruton will start in his place.

Denver is thin at offensive line with Chris Kuper's broken leg and recently signed Ryan Harris deactivated.

The Steelers are missing running back Rashard Mendenhall (knee) and safety Ryan Clark, who's sitting out as a precaution because of a blood disorder that's exacerbated by altitude.
