The NFL's Offensive Players of the Week were awarded to players from the teams leading their respective conferences in Week 13.
Russell Wilson's dominant performance in the Seattle Seahawks' blowout of the New Orleans Saints earned him the NFC Offensive Player of the Week. Wilson completed 22 of 30 passes (73.3 percent) for 310 yards, three touchdowns and performed myriad breathtaking plays.
Half the passes Denver Broncos wide receiver Eric Decker caught Sunday went for touchdowns. Decker had eight receptions for 174 yards and four scores in the Broncos'Â 35-28 win at Kansas City. The Broncos took a stranglehold on the AFC West and Decker won the AFC Offensive Player of the Week award.
On the defensive side of the ball, New York Giants defensive end Justin Tuck's career-high four sacks of Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin IIISunday night earned him the Week 13 NFC Defensive Player of the Week.
Over in the AFC, Miami Dolphins defensive end Olivier Vernon posted 10 tackles and a career-high 2.5 sacks in a lopsided win over the New York Jets. The sensational outing earned Vernon the Defensive Player of the Week in the American Football Conference.
Punters dominated the Special Teams Player of the Week awards. The Philadelphia Eagles' Donnie Jones won the Week 13 award in the NFC as he placed seven of his eight punts inside the 20-yard line -- a tally that tied him for the third-most in a game since the stat was compiled in 1976.
Cincinnati Bengals punter Kevin Huber punted four times for 222 yards (55.5 average), including two punts inside of the 20, to capture the award in the AFC.
