Titans clinch AFC South with win; Browns, Colts, Ravens also earn playoff spots

The AFC playoff picture is set after the conclusion of the Tennessee Titans' last-second 41-38 win over the Houston Texans.

Three teams clinched playoff berths early Sunday afternoon: the Cleveland Browns, Baltimore Ravens and Tennessee Titans. The Titans then won the AFC South and the Indianapolis Colts earned as spot, as well.

With the No. 1 seed, the Kansas City Chiefs on bye, the No. 2 Buffalo Bills will host the No. 7 Colts, the No. 3 Pittsburgh Steelers will host the Browns and the No. 4 Titans will host the Ravens.

Cleveland (11-5) will return to the playoffs for the first time since 2002 after beating the rival Pittsburgh Steelers (12-4), who were sitting many of their top starters. Cleveland will travel to Pittsburgh next week to play the Steelers again on Super Wild Card Weekend.

"I'm very happy for Northeast Ohio, for Browns fans all over the world. We feel their support. Happy for them," Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said after the win, per 92.3 The Fan. "We're in the dance, but we have a lot of work to do this week and we want to keep this thing going."

Baltimore (11-5) secured its third straight postseason appearance with an easy 38-3 win over the Cincinnati Bengals (4-11-1).

Tennessee didn't have to play to clinch a return to the postseason. The Titans (11-5) secured a spot thanks to the Miami Dolphins' loss to the Buffalo Bills. The Titans then cliched the AFC South with a 41-38 win over the Houston Texans.

Also thanks to the Dolphins' loss, the Colts secured the final AFC postseason spot with their 28-14 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The Browns ending the league's longest playoff drought prompted a tweet from a certain Northeast Ohio native:
