Rams conducting 2025 NFL Draft operations at Los Angeles Fire Department Air Operations

The Los Angeles Rams are packing their "draft house" bags and taking them to Fire Station 114, located on the grounds of Van Nuys (California) Airport for the 2025 NFL Draft.

The Rams announced they will be conducting their draft operations from the Los Angeles Fire Department (LAFD) Air Operations, honoring the first responders who helped during the Los Angeles-area wildfires in January.

"Drafting from LAFD Air Operations is a powerful reminder of what it means to represent Los Angeles," Rams president Kevin Demoff said in a statement on Thursday. "Since the wildfires devastated our region in January, we have looked to bring LA Together to help with the recovery efforts, raise the spirits of those impacted, and shine a light on our first responders. We are humbled to partner with LAFD during one of the NFL's biggest moments to express gratitude for those who risk their lives daily to protect our city."

The Rams and LAFD will convert a room within LAFD Air Operations to be general manager Les Snead and head coach Sean McVay's draft headquarters on April 24-26. There will also be an adjacent hangar to serve as space for coaches, scouts, team personnel and media who are on-site during the three-day event.

Before Day 2 of the NFL draft, the Rams will welcome additional first responders who assisted with the wildfires to talk to Demoff, McVay and other Rams executives.

LAFD Air Operations will continue to be fully operational during the NFL draft.

The Rams also announced on Thursday that they will work with Zillow to renovate LAFD Air Operation's recreation room.

"We are incredibly grateful to the Los Angeles Rams for their unwavering support of the Los Angeles City Fire Department and our wildfire-impacted communities," interim fire chief Ronnie Villanueva said in a statement. "Hosting the NFL Draft at LAFD Air Operations highlights the critical role our Air Operations Division plays in protecting Los Angeles, especially during wildfire season. The Rams' generosity -- renovating our station and recognizing our firefighters -- demonstrates a deep commitment to the city we all serve. We look forward to standing alongside the Rams in this meaningful event."

On Jan. 17, 12 L.A.-based sports teams, including the Rams and Los Angeles Chargers, came together for a giveaway near SoFi Stadium, assisting wildfire victims with clothing materials, shoes, grocery gift cards, food and other essential aid.

The Rams hold the No. 26 overall pick in next week's draft in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
