Quick Take: Packers/Cardinals

In Brief

» Last meeting: Ahman Green rushed for 106 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Packers past the Cardinals, 31-14, in Week 8 of the 2006 season.
» Streaks: The Packers have won five of the past six meetings, and have a 43-22-4 overall series edge, including the playoffs.
» Last week: Green Bay cruised to an easy 48-10 victory over Seattle. ... Arizona pounded NFC West rival St. Louis, 31-10.

Keep your eye on ...Mike McCarthy's game plan: The Packers' coach confronts an interesting dilemma. It is possible that his team could meet the Cardinals in the playoffs, the weekend after this Sunday's matchup. McCarthy may employ a very conservative strategy in an effort to prevent Arizona from seeing too much in case they square off again.

Ken Whisenhunt's strategy: The Cardinals' coach faces a similar dilemma, but his is even more complex. Arizona has a chance to earn the NFC's second seed and a bye if the Vikings and Eagles both lose. He will have to weigh which is more important: playoff positioning or resting his starters and keeping plays under wraps due to the possibility of facing the Packers in successive weeks.

Darnell Dockett's talent: Arizona's defensive tackle just earned his second trip to the Pro Bowl, and has the ability to dominate at times on the interior. He will provide a stiff test to a Packers offensive line that has improved recently.
