Russell's decision-making: One of the first things Tom Cable wanted to work on when he became interim coach was JaMarcus Russell's decision-making. Cable said he was pleased with Russell's performance against the Ravens and now wants Russell to get into a "cut-it-loose" mentality, allowing him to let the ball fly instead of holding on to it too long.

McFadden's toe:Darren McFadden missed the Raiders' Week 7 game against the Ravens after he aggravated his turf-toe injury. McFadden is confident he will play this week, and the Raiders could have success running the ball against a vulnerable Falcons rush defense that ranks in the bottom third of the NFL.
