Packers TE Andrew Quarless (knee) out 4-6 weeks

Aaron Rodgers will be without another target for at least a month.

Tight end Andrew Quarless has an MCL sprain in his left knee, according to NFL Media Insider Ian Rapoport, per a source. Quarless, who was injured on Monday night in the second quarter against the Chiefs, is expected to miss four to six weeks.

The second-string tight end is the latest Packer to get hit by the injury bug. Green Bay is already without the services of top wide receiver Jordy Nelson for the season, Eddie Lacy has been slowed down by an ankle injury and Davante Adams aggravated his high-ankle sprain on the first series versus Kansas City on Monday night.

With the Packers' 3-0 start they should be able to withstand just fine while Lacy, Adams and Quarless recover from their injuries. It does help matters that Green Bay has arguably the best quarterback in the game, too.

Here are some other injuries that we are tracking:

  1. The Panthers placed Charles Johnsonon IR boomerang to return Tuesday. The defensive end sustained a hamstring injury in Sunday's win over the Saints.
  1. LeSean McCoy is not expected to play on Sunday versus the Giants, per NFL Media's Rand Getlin. The Bills running back has been slowed down by a hamstring injury this season.
  1. The Eagles placed kicker Cody Parkey on season-ending injury reserve after the kicker hurt his groin. Philadelphia signed Caleb Sturgisto replace Parkey.
  1. The Chargers placed guard Johnnie Troutman (arm) on season-ending IR. Troutman started 15 games for the Chargers last season.
