The next generation of football stars kick off the 2025 OT7 season with live coverage on NFL Network and available to stream on NFL+.
Overtime's 7-on-7 competition showcases the nation's most elite high school players in a fast-paced, helmet-off style of play. With over 30% of OT7 players drafted to the NFL and NFL legends like Cam Newton and Robert Griffin III coaching along the sidelines, the league offers a glimpse into what lies ahead for college and pro football.
OT7's season begins on Saturday, March 15, with NFL Network's live coverage starting at 7 p.m. ET. Here is what to know ahead of the Opening Weekend matchups.
When and where is the OT7 season?
The OT7 regular season takes place from March 15 to April 6 as 18 teams compete across four weekends in Dallas, Texas. A new Golden Ticket Tournament from April 12-13 in Dallas allows teams outside the regular-season field to compete for a spot in the OT7 Finals. The OT7 Finals are slated for June 26-29 in Florida.
All regular-season games will take place at Dallas College Mountain View Campus. A day-by-day schedule for the regular season is as follows:
Opening Weekend:
- Saturday, March 15 (6 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET)
- Sunday, March 16 (11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. ET)
Week 2:
- Saturday, March 22 (5 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET)
- Sunday, March 23 (11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. ET)
Week 3:
- Saturday, March 29 (5 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET)
- Sunday, March 30 (11 a.m. to 7 p.m. ET)
Week 4:
- Saturday, April 5 (5 p.m. to 10 p.m. ET)
- Sunday, April 6 (11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. ET)

Who should fans watch for in OT7's Opening Weekend matchups?
Matchup 1: SFE vs Midwest Boom (7 p.m. ET)
- SFE, the reigning 2024 season champions, boast a talented WR group headlined by IMG freshman phenom Eric McFarland and the No. 1 WR in the nation, Tristen Keys. SFE is the program that developed Ohio State star Jeremiah Smith. They'll be tested by Boom QB Jonas Williams, who recently flipped his commitment from Oregon to USC.
Matchup 2: City Reapers vs Cold Hearts (8 p.m. ET)
- Two new OT7 franchises ignite their rivalry! Cold Hearts five-star QB Ryder Lyons will look to prove he's the country's best player against City Reapers' Box Boys, one of the top secondary units in the league. A trio of four-star WRs also hit the field in Salesi Moa, Aaron Gregory and Nalin Scott.
Matchup 3: C1N vs Fleaux (9 p.m. ET)
- NFL bragging rights are on the line as Cam Newton's C1N take on Ryan Clark's Fleaux. The likes of DeVonta Smith, Malik Nabers and Derek Stingley hail from Fleaux. It'll be big-play receiver galore as Travis Hunter's younger brother, Trayvis, lines up alongside Auburn commit Devin Carter for C1N against No. 1 TE Ahmad Hudson, four-star Jabari Mack & LSU commit Kenny Darby.
