Notable injuries from Sunday's Week 5 NFL games

Injuries we're monitoring around the league on this Week 5 Sunday:

  1. Green Bay Packers safety Darnell Savage did not return after suffering an ankle injury. Center Corey Linsley was evaluated for a concussion. Tight end Robert Tonyan hurt his hip during the game. LinebackerZa'Darius Smith exited with a knee injury but later returned.
  1. Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph suffered a concussion and did not return to the game against the Ravens. Receiver James Washington was also ruled out with a shoulder injury. linebacker Mark Barron sustained a hamstring injury and did not return.
  1. Philadelphia Eagles running back Darren Sproles left Sunday's game with a quad injury.
  1. Baltimore Ravens safety Tony Jefferson suffered a season-ending torn ACL in Sunday's win over Pittsburgh, coach John Harbaugh announced. Jefferson may have additonal damage in his knee, Harbaugh adds.
  1. Indianapolis Colts linebacker Zaire Franklin suffered a hamstring injury and did not return. Defensive end Kemoko Turay was carted off in the fourth quarter with an undisclosed injury.
  1. Denver Broncos linebacker Justin Hollins (knee) is questionable to return.

Broncos cornerback De'Vante Bausby was released from the hospital and has rejoined the team for its flight back to Denver. He underwent a full neurological workup and was diagnosed with a cervical sprain, the team announced.

  1. Chicago Bears defensive tackle Akiem Hicks left Sunday's game against the Oakland Raiders due to an elbow injury and did not return.
  1. New York Giants running back Wayne Gallman did not return against the Vikings after sustaining a concussion.
  1. Buffalo Bills center Mitch Morse did not return with an ankle injury. Tackle Cody Ford also left and was evaluated for a head injury.
  1. New York Jets defensive lineman Henry Anderson (shoulder) left Sunday's game early.
  1. Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Alex Erickson did not return due to a concussion. Offensive lineman Andre Smith was also lost due to a left ankle injury.
  1. New England Patriots receiver Phillip Dorsett II had a hamstring injury and did not return.
  1. Tennessee Titans cornerback Chris Milton (calf) did not return against the Bills.
  1. Arizona Cardinals cornerback Tramaine Brock did not return with a shoulder injury.
  1. Jacksonville Jaguars tight end James O'Shaughnessy had a knee injury and did not return. Safety Ronnie Harrison (neck) was also lost to injury.
  1. Washington Redskins tackle Donald Penn has a hamstring injury and did not return.
  1. Los Angeles Chargers center Mike Pouncey suffered a neck injury and did not return.
  1. Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman La'el Collins suffered a knee injury vs. the Packers and did not return.
  1. Kansas City Chiefs wideout receiver Sammy Watkins (hamstring), linebackerAnthony Hitchens (groin), and defensive tackles Chris Jones (groin) andXavier Williams (ankle) were ruled out against Indy. Offensive lineman Andrew Wylie did not return with an ankle injury.
