Lions wide receiver Calvin Johnson didn't practice Friday because of an ankle injury, but he will try to play against the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday, according to *The Detroit News*.
The star wideout sustained the injury during last Sunday's road victory over the Miami Dolphins. He is listed as questionable on the Lions' injury report.
Johnson, in his fourth season, has 77 receptions for 1,120 yards with 12 touchdowns this season.
Fourth-year cornerback Chris Houston (shoulder) also missed Friday's practice. Houston is doubtful to play, as he is facing offseason surgery, according to the newspaper.
Houston, who has 56 tackles and an interception in 15 games this season, suffered the injury against the Dolphins.
The Lions also made roster moves Friday. They placed linebacker Landon Johnson on injured reserve with a concussion that ended his season with one game to play and signed cornerback Paul Pratt off the practice squad.
