Joe Burrow scanned the Cincinnati Bengals' 2025 schedule and immediately lamented another road night game in Baltimore.
The Bengals will travel to the Charm City for a prime-time game on Thanksgiving night. Burrow likes being in the spotlight but quipped that after three straight seasons playing night games in Baltimore, he'd have liked to see it in Cincy once.
"Playing in Baltimore for the fourth straight prime-time year isn't ideal," Burrow said on Tuesday, via ESPN. "Maybe we can get one of those in Cincinnati next year. Please."
Bengals-Ravens always brings the juice when Burrow and Lamar Jackson are in the lineup. Unfortunately for Cincinnati, those prime-time games in Baltimore haven't worked out well, likely leading to Burrow's lamentation. The Bengals lost each of the past three games in Baltimore, including last year's 35-34 thriller, with Burrow's comeback bid falling short late.
The Bengals and Ravens have been the top AFC North clubs for the past four seasons. Cincy took the division title in 2021 and 2022, while Baltimore swiped it in 2023 and 2024.
Burrow isn't upset about games under the lights, but he'd like more at home. Cincinnati continually finds itself the visitor in prime time. In 2025, the Bengals currently have four night games, three of which are on the road -- at Denver, at Baltimore, at Miami; Pittsburgh at home in Week 7.
Last season, Cincy had five prime-time road games. While head coach Zac Taylor agrees with Burrow that he'd like to see more night tilts in Southwest Ohio, winning three of those was an accomplishment.
"Playing on Thanksgiving night in a stand-alone game with the whole world watching, sitting on their couch, is really exciting," Taylor said on Tuesday. "It's why you're in this business."
