Lamar Jackson (ankle) will miss his third straight game in Week 17.
Though the Baltimore Ravens gave it until 90 minutes before kickoff, the belief heading into the Rams game was that Tyler Huntley was the likely starter, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported early Sunday morning, per a source.
Jackson, listed as questionable with an ankle injury, is officially inactive. After being limited on Wednesday, the Ravens' star quarterback missed practice on Thursday and Friday.
Other injury news we are keeping an eye on ahead of Sunday's Week 17 games:
- The Arizona Cardinals are viewing running back James Conner (heel) as a game-time decision, but there is optimism he will play versus the Cowboys, Rapoport reports, per a source.
- Buffalo Bills wideout Emmanuel Sanders (knee) is inactive for Sunday versus the Falcons.
- Chicago Bears quarterback Andy Dalton is set to start versus the Giants, Rapoport reports, per a source. Rookie Justin Fields (ankle) is inactive. Left tackle Jason Peters (ankle) is likely to play, Rapoport adds.
- Denver Broncos running backs Melvin Gordon (thumb/hip) and Javonte Williams (knee), both listed as questionable, are expected to play versus the Chargers, Rapoport reports, per a source.
- Green Bay Packers punter Corey Bojorquez, guard Ben Braden, linebacker Oren Burks and tight ends Tyler Davis and Marcedes Lewis have been medically cleared to play Sunday night against the Vikings.
- The New England Patriots announced quarterback Brian Hoyer and linebacker Josh Uche have been cleared for a return from the reserve/COVID-19 list. Wideout N'Keal Harry is a healthy scratch for Sunday versus the Jaguars. Running back Damien Harris, listed as questionable with a hamstring injury, is active.
- New Orleans Saints running back Mark Ingram (knee) is unlikely to play versus the Panthers, a source tells Rapoport. Listed as questionable, Ingram's knee injury is improving, according to Rapoport, but Tony Jones Jr. should assume his role.
- The New York Jets placed defensive lineman Kyle Phillips on the reserve/COVID-19 list.
- Philadelphia Eagles running back Jordan Howard (stinger; questionable) is expected to play versus Washington, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo. He is active.
- San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo (thumb) is not expected to start versus the Texans and will likely undergo offseason surgery for his injury, a source tells Rapoport. Running back Elijah Mitchell (knee; questionable) is expected to play after a few promising days of practice, according to Rapoport, per a source.
- Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Mike Evans (hamstring) is expected to play versus the Jets despite being listed as questionable, Rapoport reports. There is optimism Antonio Brown (ankle) will play after a good day on Saturday, according to Rapoport, but the team wants to wait until his pregame workout to be sure. Both players are active.
- Washington Football Team defensive end Montez Sweat is inactive. He was not expected to play versus the Eagles after tragically losing his brother Anthony earlier this week, Rapoport and Garafolo reported. Wideout Curtis Samuel, listed as questionable with a hamstring injury, is also inactive.
