Injury roundup: Jay Ajayi under concussion evaluation

Miami Dolphins running back Jay Ajayi is being evaluated for a concussion after making an early exit from Monday's practice session, coach Adam Gase said.

Ajayi was seen walking with team trainers to the locker room during the morning practice session, and he didn't return to the field.

The Pro Bowl running back rushed for 1,272 yards and eight touchdowns over 15 games last season for the Dolphins.

  1. Los Angeles Chargers coach Anthony Lynn told reporters that first-round rookie wideout Mike Williams could potentially miss the entire season due to his back injury.
  1. Green Bay Packers rookie defensive tackle Montravius Adams suffered a stress fracture in his foot and likely needs a screw inserted, a source informed of the situation told NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport. The injury could cause the third-round pick to be sidelined until the start of the regular season.
  1. NFL Network's James Palmer reported that Denver Broncos free-agent acquisition Ron Leary is not practicing on Monday after the offensive lineman was pulled from Sunday's practice due to a groin injury.
  1. The Washington Redskins waived running back Keith Marshall, who was designated as injured. Marshall suffered a knee injury in Saturday's practice.
  1. Dallas Cowboys coach Jason Garrett told reporters Monday that offensive lineman Chaz Green's shoulder injury will keep him out for the next week or so.
  1. New York Jets coach Todd Bowles told reporters that running back Matt Forte tweaked his hamstring and wideout Robby Anderson tweaked "something."
  1. Cleveland Browns rookie defensive lineman Caleb Brantleyunderwent surgery to repair a broken finger and will be out a week or two, coach Hue Jackson said.
  1. Pittsburgh Steelers rookie running back James Conner (shoulder) and cornerbacker Senquez Golson (leg) were sent back to Pittsburgh to undergo tests on their injuries. Coach Mike Tomlin did not provide an update on the tests. Backup quarterback Landry Jones suffered an abdominal during practice.
  1. Cincinnati Bengals safety George Iloka will reportedly miss three to four weeks after suffering a right knee injury in practice on Sunday, according to The Cincinnati Enquirer. Iloka has missed just four games over the last four years in Cincy. He should be healthy in time for the season opener against Baltimore.
