Injury roundup: Brett Hundley suffers ankle injury

Brett Hundley, a 2015 fifth-round pick out of UCLA, has been groomed as Aaron Rodgers' backup in Green Bay. However, he suffered a setback in Thursday night's preseason win.

Hundley left in the second quarter after suffering an ankle injury against the Oakland Raiders, but Packers coach Mike McCarthy downplayed the injury after the game.

"Brett Hundley's doing good," McCarthy said. "Just saw him in the locker room. Same ankle (left) as last time, don't think it's as bad."

Cameras showed Aaron Rodgers with his arm around a slightly limping Hundley as the two made their way to the locker room at halftime.

Hundley had completed five of his seven throws for 67 yards, and led Green Bay to a 14-play, 74-yard scoring drive which ended with Eddie Lacy rumbling into the end zone.
