Here are the injuries we're monitoring on the sixth Sunday of the 2018 NFL season:
- Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Calvin Ridley suffered an ankle injury against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and was ruled out. Wide receiver Mohamed Sanu suffered a hip injury in the second half.
- Baltimore Ravens guard Alex Lewis underwent a CT scan at a local hospital and is being released after suffering a neck injury, the team announced. He will travel back to Baltimore with the team Sunday and undergo more tests Monday. Lewis was carted off the field during the Ravens' victory against the Tennessee Titans but had movement in all of his extremities.
"Our prayers are with Alex and his family," Ravens coach John Harbaugh said. "And I would say this: so far, so good. There's a lot of optimism."
- Buffalo Bills quarterback Josh Allenexited in the third quarter with an elbow injury and did not return against the Houston Texans. He was replaced by Nathan Peterman. Coach Sean McDermott did not provide an update on Allen after the game.
Bills guard Vladimir Ducasse exited early with a knee injury.
- The Minnesota Vikings fear cornerback Mike Hughes suffered a torn ACL in a win over the Arizona Cardinals, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported. The promising rookie will undergo an MRI tomorrow.
- Oakland Raiders coach Jon Gruden told reporters he thinks quarterback Derek Carr is "going to be OK" and that he wanted to return after suffering a left shoulder injury late in the Raiders' loss to the Seattle Seahawks. NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported Carr's injury is likely not serious and he might not miss a game since the Raiders are on bye next week.
Raiders wide receivers Amari Cooper and Seth Roberts were ruled out after suffering concussions. Guard Jon Feliciano suffered a ribs injury and did not return.
- Los Angeles Rams linebacker Matt Longacre (back) and guard Rodger Saffold (knee) did not return.
- Cincinnati Bengals cornerback Darqueze Dennard sustained a shoulder injury against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Linebacker Nick Vigil (knee) and safety Shawn Williams (concussion) exited early and did not return.
- Indianapolis Colts running back Robert Turbin suffered a shoulder injury against the New York Jets and was ruled out.
- Cardinals guard Mike Iupati suffered a back injury and did not return. Guard Justin Pugh (hand) and tackle Jeremy Vujnovich (hamstring) also exited early.
- Cleveland Browns wide receiver Rod Streater did not return after suffering a stinger against the Los Angeles Chargers.
- New York Jets receiver Quincy Enunwa exited the game after suffering an ankle injury.
- Miami Dolphins defensive end Jonathan Woodard was ruled out after suffering a concussion.
- Buccaneers defensive tackle Gerald McCoy exited with a calf injury against the Falcons and was seen in a walking boot.
- Denver Broncos safety Dymonte Thomas (chest) and guard Ron Leary (ankle) were ruled out.
- Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Niles Paul was ruled out against the Dallas Cowboys with a knee injury. Receiver/returner Jaydon Mickens suffered a fractured ankle and is out 4 to 6 weeks, Rapoport reported.
- Kansas City Chiefs center Mitch Morse suffered a concussion in the second quarter and did not return.
- New England Patriots defensive lineman Malcolm Brown was inactive against the Chiefs Sunday night. Right tackle Marcus Cannon suffered a head injury during the second half and did not return.
- Dallas Cowboys receiver Tavon Austin (groin) did not return to their game against the Jacksonville Jaguars.
