Injuries we're tracking from Sunday's Week 2 games

Here are the injuries we're monitoring on the second Sunday of the 2018 NFL season:

  1. Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Mike Wallace suffered an ankle injury and was ruled out. In addition, offensive tackleJason Peters was ruled out after suffering a quad injury in the first half.
  1. Detroit Lions cornerback Darius Slay exited with a concussion against the 49ers and did not return. Lions running back LeGarrette Blount (shoulder) was active, while defensive end Ezekiel Ansah (shoulder) was inactive and did not play.
  1. Tennessee Titans running back David Fluellen suffered a groin injury.
  1. Buffalo Bills cornerback Phillip Gaines suffered an elbow injury against the Los Angeles Chargers. Bills running back Taiwan Jones exited the game after suffering a head injury. Jones' helmet was knocked off and the back was subsequently hit in the head. LeSean McCoy (ribs) exited the game in the third quarter.
  1. Jacksonville Jaguars left tackle Cam Robinson (knee) did not return against the New England Patriots.
  1. Atlanta Falcons guard Andy Levitre did not return after suffering an elbow injury. Falcons defensive end Derrick Shelby also did not return with a groin injury.
  1. Washington Redskins running back Rob Kelley suffered a toe injury against the Indianapolis Colts.
  1. New York Jets tight end Neal Sterling was evaluated for a head injury against the Miami Dolphins.
  1. Green Bay Packers cornerback Kevin King suffered a groin injury against the Minnesota Vikings.
  1. Carolina Panthers safety Da'Norris Searcy suffered a concussion and did not return to the game. Panthers cornerback Donte Jackson (hamstring) also didn't return against the Falcons.
  1. Los Angeles Chargers fullback Derek Watt suffered a thumb injury against the Buffalo Bills.
  1. Minnesota Vikings cornerback Marcus Sherels (chest), offensive tackle Rashod Hill(ankle) and running back Dalvin Cook suffered injuries Sunday.
  1. Los Angeles Rams kicker Greg Zuerlein suffered a groin injury and did not return to the game.
  1. New England Patriots defensive end Trey Flowers did not return to the game after taking a knee to the neck in the first half. He's going through concussion protocol.
  1. Arizona Cardinals wideout Larry Fitzgerald suffered a hamstring injury in the second half and did not return.
  1. New York Giants cornerback Eli Apple suffered a groin injury and did not return against the Dallas Cowboys. Starting center Jon Halapio was carted off the field in the third quarter with his leg in an air cast.
