The National Football League has announced that rap icon Giggs will headline the halftime show during the 2025 NFL London games matchup presented by NetApp between the New York Jets and the Denver Broncos on Oct. 12 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
The performance will mark a major moment for the artist, whose pioneering role in rap has influenced the sound and culture of the genre over the past two decades. From his breakout debut Walk in da Park to multiple Top 10 albums and collaborations with international stars such as Drake and 21 Savage, Giggs has cemented his reputation as one of Britain's most influential voices in music.
"It's a huge moment to be a part of the London Games," said Giggs. "I've been on a journey with my music, and to get to share that with my city and the NFL fans is something I'm really proud of."
"Bringing the best in sports and entertainment is what the International games are all about," said Tim Tubito, senior director of global game presentation and entertainment at the NFL. "We're incredibly excited to have Giggs, an artist with his level of impact, perform at the second London game of 2025."
Ahead of the game, Jay Perry and Roxanne Couch, two of the cast members from the London production of the hit show Hamilton, will perform the National Anthems. Perry will sing the English National Anthem, "God Save the King," and Couch will perform the United States National Anthem, "The Star-Spangled Banner."
"The atmosphere when the NFL comes to town is electric," said Perry. "It is a privilege to be a part of that energy and represent my country on such a big stage."
"I am so excited and proud to perform the U.S. National Anthem at this NFL London Game," said Couch. "It's a powerful experience to share this moment with fans from around the world and celebrate the game with fans that have so much passion for the sport."
Beyond the NFL's first game in-market, the league is committed to growing the game at every level across the country, engaging with fans year-round through partners, programs and initiatives, including NFL Flag and community events.
The 2025 NFL London games will also be presented by the NFL's Global Official Intelligent Data Infrastructure partner, NetApp.
