The Polynesian Bowl announced on Monday that Doug Pederson and Mike Singletary have been selected as head coaches for the 2026 Polynesian Bowl.
The annual high school all-star game will take place Jan. 16, 2026 and will air on NFL Network at 9 p.m. ET.
The 2026 game will be the second-consecutive Polynesian Bowl to feature a Super Bowl-winning head coach.
Pederson led the Philadelphia Eagles to the franchise's first title when they defeated Tom Brady and the New England Patriots in Super Bowl LII. Gary Kubiak, who won Super Bowl 50 as head coach of the Denver Broncos, coached in this past year's game.
"I am honored to be a head coach for the 2026 Polynesian Bowl," Pederson said in a statement on Monday. "It is an incredible chance to work with the next generation of NFL talent in such a beautiful place as Hawai'i."
Singletary, who made the Pro Football Hall of Fame following a decorated playing career with the Chicago Bears, took over as interim head coach of the San Francisco 49ers during the 2008 season and then assumed the role of permanent HC for the 2009 and 2010 seasons.
"The Polynesian Bowl is a celebration of a beautiful culture and the game we all love," Singletary said. "I look forward to coaching the top high school players in the nation."
The game features 100 of the nation's top ranked high school seniors of Polynesian and non-Polynesian ancestry, and past MVPs include 2025 No. 2 overall pick Travis Hunter and star Rams wide receiver Puka Nacua.
