Calvin Johnson misses Detroit Lions' week of practice

Calvin Johnson's injured knee isn't getting any better. So the Detroit Lions are taking extra steps to try to help their star wide receiver.

Megatron missed his third consecutive day of practice Friday. For most players, that means he's unlikely to play over the weekend against the Jacksonville Jaguars. Mike O'Hara of the Lions' official website, however, still expects Johnson to play.

That seems to be expectation around the Lions. Look for Johnson to be listed as questionable on the injury report but make the trip with the team to Jacksonville. Johnson has just 80 yards combined in the last two weeks.

UPDATE: Johnson is officially listed as questionable for the game, along with linebacker DeAndre Levy. In other injury news, safeties Louis Delmas and Amari Spievey are listed as out.
