2022 NFL season, Week 13: Notable injuries, news from Sunday's games

Here are the injuries and news we're monitoring around the league on this Week 13 Sunday:

  • Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson was ruled out against the Broncos after suffering a knee injury, per head coach John Harbaugh. Jackson will have an MRI and other tests Monday, Harbaugh added. NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport specified that Jackson most likely suffered a knee sprain. Linebacker Patrick Queen (thigh) was also ruled out for the rest of the game.
  • Chicago Bears tight end Trevon Wesco (leg) did not return against the Packers.
  • Cincinnati Bengals tight end Hayden Hurst (calf) was ruled out against the Chiefs.
  • Cleveland Browns wide receiver David Bell did not return with a hand injury against the Texans.
  • Dallas Cowboys cornerback Anthony Brown (Achilles) suffered a season-ending injury Sunday night, according to team owner Jerry Jones.
  • Denver Broncos wide receiver Courtland Sutton (hamstring) did not return against the Ravens.
  • Las Vegas Raiders cornerback Rock Ya-Sin (knee) was ruled out against the Chargers.
  • Los Angeles Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford has a spinal cord contusion, and there's a "good chance" he is done for the season, per head coach Sean McVay. Stafford was placed on injured reserve Saturday.
  • Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa suffered an ankle injury against the 49ers, but it is not believed to be serious and he's expected to start in Week 14, NFL Network's Tom Pelissero reported. Pelissero added that Tagovailoa could've returned to the game if needed.
  • Minnesota Vikings defensive end Jonathan Bullard did not return with an elbow injury against the Jets.
  • New York Giants defensive lineman Leonard Williams (neck) did not return against Washington.
  • New York Jets cornerback Michael Carter II suffered an ankle injury and returned for one play before departing for the rest of the game against Minnesota.
  • Philadelphia Eagles wide receiver Quez Watkins (shoulder) and linebacker Shaun Bradley (hamstring) both left the game and did not return against the Titans.
  • San Francisco 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo broke his foot during Sunday's win over Miami and will undergo season-ending surgery, head coach Kyle Shanahan told reporters. "He'll be out. He'll need surgery; broke a few things in there," Shanahan said. San Francisco is signing QB Josh Johnson off Denver's practice squad in order to serve as a backup behind Brock Purdy, NFL Network Insider Ian Rapoport reported.
  • Seattle Seahawks running back Kenneth Walker III (ankle) and safety Josh Jones (hamstring) were both ruled out against the Rams. Head coach Pete Carroll told reporters following the game that Walker "jammed" his ankle rather than suffering a sprain.
  • Tennessee Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks (concussion protocol), who was slow to get up after scoring a touchdown against the Eagles in the first half, was later ruled out. Linebacker David Long (hamstring) was also ruled out. Cornerback Kristian Fulton (groin) did not return.
  • Washington Commanders offensive tackle Sam Cosmi (ankle) was ruled out against the Giants.
